After making a grand entrance in our bi-weekly feature The Slice, singer-songwriter Laolu hit us once more with a brand new magnetizing record. This new single titled "How to feel" is a sultry r&b record with similar vibes to her previous single "All in me" but on a more sensual tip. She delivers a passion-filled performance over the somber, downtempo backdrop crafted by producer DuncSuei. Swelling with atmospheric elements, Laolu's vocal style exudes an honest, relatable vibe from start to finish. Being inspired by true events definitely adds to the mix as she explains " It's about something I experienced recently – that pensive insecure feeling of uncertainty in a relationship...". The song which deals with being in love with an unserious individual eventually turned out into a solid r&b jam, what can we say? Sometimes, good things sporing out of bad situations.
