Anonymous electronic outlet King Arthur has returned with its latest track, delivering a welcomed change in style and on a promise that his music is "royally" like nothing else. After a massive debut in 2015 with "Belong to the Rhythm," we've seen King Arthur in house, pop, and now, following the release of an album Believe in the Kingdom last year, making even more moves into 2018. The release of "Laidback" marks King Arthur's signing to Casablanca Records, a label that is home to many dance, house and pop-crossover acts like Giorgio Moroder, Martin Solveig and SG Lewis.
"Laidback" is a track whose inspirations are nostalgic and from the days of Fatboy Slim and A-Trak, and when electronica and house had a special funkiness to them. Check it out above.
