House DJ Damon Hess teams up with production duo Deep Matter and X-factor finalist Lydia Lucy for this anthemic jam titled "Tempted". Spearheaded by Lydia's sultry vocals which add an uplifting vibe to the song, the record delivers a warm, summery feeling that is both rousing and playful. A solid blend of classic house elements, future house arrangements and a ragga vocal in the bridge (something that came from the blindside) make the record pretty remarkable and a certain floor filler if you asked us.
The visual representation of the record takes on a life of its own with very bright, somewhat abstract scenes that give off summery White Isle vibes. This is pure house bliss from start to bottom and we have Somn’thing Records to thank for this one.
