Multi-talented artist Daytona Starsky brings a whole new meaning to unorthodox on his new effort. The record in question is his previously released single “Space Boy” which got elevated with some off the cuff visuals. The song itself doesn't conform to the usual grounded restrictions as the rapper/producer crafts an offbeat soundscape made up of weird twirling synths and mellow syncopated drums to match. Right from the jump, it’s clear that this 22-year-old Brooklyn resident isn’t about to be boxed into any genres or specific styles.
The song is a wildly creative and fun tune and the equally rad visuals pretty much ups the ante. Starsky cruises through his neighborhood on two wheels as he spits a whirlwind of bars and contemplates why and when he’s destined for space travel—and who’s coming with him.
