Ghostface Killah has returned with the lead single off the Mello Music Group's re-issue version of his crime/horror Hip-Hop masterpiece 'The Brown Tape'. The story behind 'The Brown Tape' is Ghostface Killah recounting a, "brutal tale of gangsters, betrayal and one vengeful soul hunting the 12 most powerful crime lords in the World." The original version was recorded and produced by Adrian Younge and titled "Twelve Reasons to Die | The Brown Tape".
At the same time, Adrian Younge was given the keys to the car to put together a conceptual album masterpiece, legendary Detroit producer Apollo Brown was given the original GFK recordings and instructed to construct beats around one of the original Wu-Tang lyrical sword-smiths and create an alternate version for re-issue to accompany Adrian Younge's.
