Built on the backbone of a soulful vocal sample and an emotional gripping piano riff, the emcee paints a grim picture of his neighborhood. Seeing the dark clouds hovering his project and the urban decay may slow him down but doesn't stop him from escaping the troubles of the street life.
Pyrex Porter was born and raised in Harlem, New York and has been writing music from a very young age but started taking it seriously about three years ago. One of his biggest musical inspiration is the late Big L and you can surely feel his presence with the way the young man loves to tell vivid stories over gripping backdrops.
