Inglewood, CA based artist League slows it down with this rnb influenced single titled "We The Catch". The song according to him was actually meant to be on his debut project and he and his producer Jay Kurzweil decided to let it loose.
"We The Catch" seamlessly blends rap and 90s rnb with its mellow, laid back groove and sensual chords. While the singing was toned down, League did come through with a simple, memorable hook and a soft tone flow that matches the quiet storm vibes of the song. He also brings in a friend, Hardaway Smith who completes the cypher as the duo kick game to the shorties.
Besides working with up and coming acts in his locale, League is also a founding member of the collective known as SQUADSHITONLY. He is the brains behind most of the merch and even handles part of the business end of things. League's biggest feature to date is a Big Gipp assisted "Jam" and has released a video via Russell Simmons's All Def Digital music channel. Still a young cat in the game, he is busy perfecting his craft and staying true to himself.
