Bay Area phenom Rexx Life Raj has continued to create a buzz and grow as an artist over the last few years. From Forbes naming him one of "3 Hip-Hop Artists Colleges Should Book This Semester" to playing Rolling Loud: Bay Area in October, Raj has been creating a lane all of his own.
Today, he is back with a new single titled "IDFWYN".
"IDFWYN", produced by Kyle Betty, is a laid back cut that still has that bounce the Bay has come to be known for. Raj comes through with his effortless flow and smooth melodic vocals letting those special individuals, who aren't keeping it real, know that he isn't here for the fakeness. Rather than go the Big Sean route – "I Don't Fuck With You", Raj keeps it cool and calm. Raj shared,
"Being in the music industry exposes you to a lot of fake shit. People who'll befriend you only in hopes of using you or getting something out of you. Rappers acting like something they're not, trying to be famous. Lots of leeches. This is song is to all those people. Real recognize real and you don't look familiar!"
Rexx Life Raj might have created a new anthem with "IDFWYN".
