Ahmed Gallab's Sinkane project continues to ascend to new heights with each release. Featuring Ish Montgomery on bass, Jason Trammell on drums, Jonny Lam on guitar, vocals from Amanda Khiri and Elenna Canlas on keys, Sinkane's group of multi-talented members assembled to release New Berlin Sessions, a 3-track EP comprised of some new originals and re-envisioned favorites as recorded while on the road earlier in 2017. The EP will have 100% of its proceeds donated to the Southern Poverty Law Center, and provides insight into how the artists are constantly on their grind. The Bandcamp exclusive starts out with a funky, nearly 9-minute "The Way," moves into a new version of "Yacha" from their 2014 Mean Love EP, and finishes with an electronica-infused rocker "Telephone."
Alongside the release of New Berlin Sessions, Sinkane has announced a world tour that will commence tonight in Larmer Tree, UK and continue through December, with details below.
