Riverkinn has a very interesting and experimental take on the hip-hop genre, sometimes even bending outside of it. The Dayton, OH artist gave us a new project that did just that, Kokopelli, this weekend. He is a mega-talented producer and it shows on this project, as he produced all but one track. On this project, River uses his voice in many creative ways including some fast paced raw rapping, but he really shines when he mixes this with his singing. One phrase that comes to mind to describe his style is beautiful aggression, as he has complete control over his high powered instrumentals and versatility in his creativity.
