Have you ever thought to yourself, “Damn, this track could be better if…” Odds are, the answer is yes. The real question, is could you do something about it? For most of us lay folk, that’s a negative as we don’t possess the technology or the steady hands to pull off a procedure like that. Producing a song is no small feat, to begin with, and improving upon one produced by Kaytranada, is even more challenging.
Samurai Del isn’t afraid of such a challenge, however. The Seattle resident gave Kay a run for his money with a bright, bouncy and beautiful remix of Goldlink’s “Meditation.”

Funky stuff right? There's even a little bit of James Brown screeching mixed in here and there. Compared to the more muted and dreary synths on the original, Del’s remix has a sunny and up-tempo vibe to it which feels more at home with the rest of Link's At What Cost. Sorry, Kay, the dude did work here.
