Brooklyn based producer Yellow Shoots has released his sophomore EP Stormy Weather exclusively on our site today, which follows a Skyzoo collaboration entitled "Heaven" that dropped earlier this year. Before Greg Matthews was known as Yellow Shoots he served as the guitarist for GoGo Morrow and Ryan Toby of the R&B group City High, as well as John Legend.
The Stormy Weather EP is everything that good R&B is made of, slow, silky and smooth with a touch of electronic. The vocals croon softly, weaving in and out of steady beats. The title track is especially slick, and flows effortlessly over soft R&B grooves that fall away against a faded backdrop. The link can be found on Spotify here.
