Lane 8 is moving steadily along in building his brand. His This Never Happened label has established his outlook on music, and his eponymous tour established his intent in live performance. Both subscribe to living in the moment and taking in everything in as it happens, experiencing life through our own lens, not necessarily through that of technology.
After selling out legs of his tour – like those in New York – Lane 8 released a collaborative single with Kidnap Kid, entitled "Aba." The single, along with his other release of 2017, "In My Arms," show a further developing musical style and a confidence in such changes. Nature-inspired, organic, progressive, fans have described his music as "chilled out deadmau5" and like he's "telling a fairytale." He's done just that on his latest release, "Little Voices," a track that it entrancing and almost feels alive itself. The track's release comes with the announcement of his This Never Happened Summer Gatherings, outdoor shows hitting Colorado, New York and San Francisco.
