In approximately 3 weeks from today, nomads and gypsies wandering through the beautiful hills of Lightning in a Bottle Music and Arts Festival will find a thumping sound from miles away pulling them towards the Woogie stage. For those already in the know of the fact that Christian Smith would be playing, they’d already be front row getting misted by the Woogie's stage pillars. For those unfamiliar with Smith's sound, you'll find yourself sprinting to the dance floor, surrounding yourself with one of the world's leading champions of techno music. On Sunday the 28th,  Smith will be playing at the Woogie Stage, which will undoubtedly be one of the most influential techno sets of the weekend. Whether you’re a techno snob or not, Christian Smith immerses you into a world you didn’t think existed and EARMILK is lucky enough to share this exclusive early mix to get fans ready.

Christian Smith is one of Earth’s techno legends, hailing from Sweden with a powerful but brilliant sound that ranges from melodic to straight up nasty. He’s released under massive labels such as Drumcode, Plus8/Minus, Cocoon, and his own label, Tronic Imprint (which is one of top 3 techno selling labels in the world).  The above playlist captures the eclectic variety of his sound, with heavy rolling basslines, dark synths, acid tech, and so much reverb it’s only permitted past 3 am. Keep this puppy on hand to help get your pallet ready for the techno oasis that awaits everyone at Lightning in a Bottle on May 24th.
