If you are for some reason still sleeping on the 1234Creations collective, just know that you are missing out on some of the most multi-faceted artists (under the ages of 24) in the game. Even though the group is best known for it's affiliations with Jaden Smith and his MSFTsrep art collective, group founder Daniel D'Artiste and his brother dylAn have managed to cultivate a whole separate youth movement with a similar heavy DIY ethos, that has been pumping out highly creative content in the form of mixtapes, music videos,clothing, and a popular radio show on Dash Radio.
One of the group's key members, rapper & producer Lean Ghost, had dropped an excellent self produced five song EP late last year entitled BOO!, and today EARMILK has been given the opportunity to debut a visual for the standout track "Absent". The video was directed & edited by frequent collaborator and fellow 1234 associate Ben Tan with Noah Kentis, and features our protagonist laying down some sombers lines about his first love & their eventual breakup. A mannequin named "Shela" serves as the silent love interest in the video, in most scenes serving as the only other character in Lean's world of dejection.
