The Notorious B.I.G. is trending today, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of his untimely death in 1997 at the prime age of 24. But though we are all honoring his rap skills and impact on music as we know it, not everyone is going so far as Uki, who has released a full EP in honor of the Brooklyn rap king. The fellow New York City-based producer and member of the In Good Company DJ collective has put together a three track memorial, B.I.G (The Tribute of Biggie), on this big anniversary. Featuring three of Biggie's most memorable and nostalgic hits, Uki has reenvisioned them just as we think he would have wanted them – chill, laid back, bangers.
