State of the world got you down? Fear not friend! Uber groovy newcomer Winston Surfshirt is here all the way from Sydney, Australia to put a smile on your face and a pep in your step with "Be About You."
The genre-defying super group’s latest song is about as catchy as they come. Parts Alt-J, parts Anderson .Paak, parts Tame Impala, Winston Surfshirt is the band I think we all need right now.

And hot damn do they deliver. “Be About You” has a perfect natural flow to it. It’s effortless in all aspects and comes together as a beautiful hip-hop, funk rock, melody. Winston (lead vocals as well as the name of the collective) deftly switches from rapping to singing on the chorus and hits high notes that very few of his contemporaries could come close. It’s a range like this, mixed with a very authentic style, which will take these guys far.
They recently signed to Sydney’s Sweat It Out label and what way to start things off huh? For those of you reading this from the Land Down Under, you’ll be happy to know Winston Surfshirt will be going on tour, along with RUFUS this year! Tour dates posted below:
