Apparently they're "just two dudes that aren't friends", but the duo from Los Angeles are sure as hell turning heads with their heavy hitting tunage. We're Not Friends is definitely a duo to look out for, especially considering their a boisterous dubstep sound, sharp attitude and thorough dimensionality. The production duo have added their own kinetic twist to a large array of artists in the scene including Callie Reiff, Dapp, Tchami and more. Aside from remixes, We're Not Friends have a handful of solid bangers that will attract bassheads worldwide.

Here to set the tone of the New Year right, is their newest single "Dare" ft. Brenna V.K. In this fresh track, the duo utilize Brenna's smokey vocals to smooth over the grittiness that ensues in the drop. Finding that perfect yin and yang in a dubstep track is difficult to achieve. By juxtaposing Brenna V.K's hazey vocals with the jarring and almost monstrous drop, we're exposed to a completely cinematic soundscape. Contrast is everything and We're Not Friends pulls it off just right, hitting all the soft and hard spots optimally in "Dare".

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
