We're always game for refreshed renditions of classics. It's a frightening thought, but Mario's R&B hit "Let Me Love You" is now 12 years old. It only seemed like yesterday that I was listening to the track on my 128 megabyte mp3 player during recess break. Fast forward a decade and a bit ahead and Mario is (only) 30 and our phones can store likely over 200 times the amount of what they used to hold.

Described as a "curly male duo", the Golden Pony share several deep house tracks that ooze funk and good times. The Golden Pony add a tasty twist to Mario's R&B tune in their rendition featuring Dasha. The track is released via the ever so eclectic Uprise Music and veers toward a different direction in their sound. The Golden Pony still manage to hold their chilled out approach in the cover with radiating synths that rock in and throughout the track. Humble plucks, fluid percussion and wavy atmosphere's make for a sultry tune to bump late night. With Dasha's sweet vocal work, the track completely flips the original, making it a brand new work with future vibes.
