Sometimes music just automatically clicks with you upon first listen; I'm convinced this is what magic feels like. This serendiptous experience comes in the sonic form of Coastal's remix of Noah's "Airport Bar", which is a stunning rework of Gene Wilder's "Pure Imagination," the whimsical song from the Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory . The original cover already stands alone as a whimsical work with nostalgic and honest vocals from Noah, and Coastal adds a quirky and glowing dimension to the track, injecting flares of future bass waves and clunky drum patterns.

After further probing Coastal's Soundcloud, we find that the San Diego/Long Beach based producer had constructed a huge range of music, including some pretty hefty trap tracks as well as chilled out experimental beats. The artist's ability to jump from one sound to another definitely highlights his nimbleness in tactful sound design.
The "Airport Bar" remix is definitely one to take note of, as it's an absolute extension of the imaginative mind in audible form. Clicky synths and nostaglic melodies breathe in and through the punchy drum work. What Coastal does, is paint an explosive image of bliss through every sound carefully considered. The remix's atmosphere anchors listeners into a richer dream state with every listen.
