Admittedly the title of this post will rub some the wrong way; it is borderline offensive to not name DJ Spinn, Tone Roche, and Tasco individually. However, to list every person who contributed to this surprisingly momentous track in a single catchy heading that does not run three lines long, is nigh impossible. Perhaps, you might find it in your heart to forgive this lowly writer, who brings with him the gift of one of the last recordings from the late great DJ Rashad.
"Get The Cash" seemingly came out of nowhere. Sasha Go Hard has typically perused around the drill or trap style production, rather than footwork oriented styles. While one assumes Chicago musicians are all aware of Teklife, it is remarkable that a rapper would hold onto a collaboration with the DJ Rashad for over two years. Although, this delayed released is not important any longer, as the track is here and good.

Sasha Go Hard and the four DJs/Producers collaborated while out in the Bay Area in 2014. "Get The Cash" features the Chicago MC in her top form: wild, brash, and confident. Teklife bring their signature popping hi-hats and fast tempo. Indeed, this speed proves to be no problem for Sasha, who verbally runs all over the track—seemingly made out of air. Towards the end of the song, there is a beautiful send off to DJ Rashad that does not feel tacky or overdone. DJ Spinn, Tone Roche, Tasco, and Sasha Go Hard all did their thing and would have made the late legend proud. Listen above.
