Rommel Donald – known professionally as ROM – may be young, but his remix of "Lose Again" by Linden Jay has no less of an impact on the power of his music. The 20-year-old Birmingham based producer learned violin at 8, and guitar at 10. His prowess with music software dates back to elementary school, or as they'd say in the UK, his primary school years.

ROM cites his influences as Timbaland, Kanye West, and Rodney Jenkins, as well as Soulection and HW&W. Those (and more) can be clearly heard on this remix of Linden Jay, featuring vocals by Shola Ama that bring to mind a modern disco queen, mixed up with electronic piano chords, hard-hitting beats and heavy synths.
