V & JT SOUL are some of the freshest craftsmen in the game right now, both hailing from Montreal. Today they bring us their first collaborative effort since they both signed to the label ODDIO. Fresh out of high school (homie is literally 17) JT Soul has sign to ODDIO Entertainment, alongside his personal beatmaker, Jei Bandit, and is cooking up his debut EP, ready to release any minute now! V, formerly known as Mac Vybz, is ready for his 2016 comeback and kicks it off with this track.
The production sort of reminds me of an echo from water droplets hitting the jungle floor. In my mind, the jungle floor could also be acting as a life-size-huge-fucking-xylophone. And I imagine all homies on the track tiptoeing over they keys. JT Soul & V have released a certified ethereal trap song. Both artists like to switch between rapping and a auto-tuned singing tone giving them a really unique sound. We must say, Canada has really been doing crazy things for the trap/hip-hop/progressive music scene. Montreal musicians bout to be making money.
