Introducing: Jarrod Milton and his debut "Red"

Today, Jarrod Milton releases a bone-chilling debut single off his upcoming LP titled Girl. The Detroit born – Atlanta bred artist strikes the most vulnerable of chords through an emotionally turbulent ride with his latest cut, "Red" ft Oliver Blue.

The 22 year old teamed up another other artist/producer/visionary named Oliver Blue. Who co-produced and "made 'Red' come to life". Jarrod developed his love for song through Ebenezer Baptist Church (aka Martin Luther King Jr.s Church) choir and has been songwriting for five years but was reluctant to share his sounds because of their personal nature. "Red" demonstrates a raw grasp on truth sung through a timid tone yet with a powerful delivery. His vocals act as an accordion – expanding effortlessly over haunting piano chords with a piercing ring from a synth. Jarrod explains the theme behind the track.

"Red came from an experience I had at a party that felt so painfully surreal, I almost thought I dreamt it. It was the first time I felt like i could describe it all: all the tough feelings, all the relationships. The words truly wrote themselves. It's the sum of me at this point in my life."
