AC Slater & Taiki Nulight collaborate in deep bass EP "My Peoples"

Night Bass Records founder AC Slater is back at it again alongside associate Taiku Nulight in a wobbly deep bass EP, My Peoples. Inspired by the riveting basslines of UK garage and house, Slater and his imprint are bringing themselves to the forefront of the bass scene with releases like this. With its "back to basics" mantra and desire to explore house music in a low key manner, the label always ensures top-notch quality in it's releases. AC Slater, Night Bass and team acts as a symbolic ode to nocturnals itching to immerse themselves in a full house experience, delivering grit and funk in each track released.

My Peoples takes a grimy and dark approach to house, encapsulating a menacing groove in both tracks presented. This marks the first collaborative release of AC Slater & Taiku Nulight, since 2013's “Doing It". The title track first brings in rolling rhythms and cryptic vocals to add punch in the build up to the bass-line, then "Psycho" flips things into a more upbeat approach, with buzzing bass and clunky 808s.
