Anik Khan has been having one heck of a year. Following the release of his debut EP I Don't Know Yet in July 2015; the Bengali-born, Queens-bred rapper has continued to drop undeniable gems. Khan has returned with a new single titled "Cleopatra".

"Cleopatra" is co-produced by Melo-X and Khan. It samples Bollywood composer A.R. Rahman. One thing that is evident in all of Khan's music, including "Cleopatra", is the mix of sounds from around the world, which leads to the main descriptor of his music being global. The cherry on top is the bridge, where you'll hear some familiar lyrics once sung by Craig David.
Anik Khan's unique bridging of sounds is a breath of fresh air. Let's hope we can expect another full project from him in 2017. Until then, press play on "Cleopatra".
