Hailing from Bristol, the energetic group Dr Meaker holds no stops when it comes to their creations whether live or in the studio. The 8-piece band combines live instruments with samples, soaring vocalists, and crisp studio electronics to create a sonic sound that awakens you from your core. All of the elements are combined to make driving drum and bass with a pop twist, all complimented with anthemic vocals that lift you up on their wings. On July 1, the group will drop their new album Dirt & Soul via Circus Records, but today they share with us "Wanna Feel Love," feat. vocalists Yolanda. Frenetic drum and bass patterns underscore vibrant horns and the wailing smoky soulfulness of Yolanda's voice. It's the perfect pick-me-up and has us eager for the album's release this Friday.
