American DJ and producer Spencer Brown has most certainly been busy in 2016. Since his career, the Duke graduate has been a rising star in the progressive game, releasing music via Swedish labels PRMD, ICONS and Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats. Just three weeks ago, Brown joined us for a guest mix celebrating the release of his new Taking My Time EP that was released via ICONS, and this week he's back with Anjunabeats for a single release entitled "Wannamaker."
The original mix of "Wannamaker" has a futuristic element to it, building upon Brown's classic progressive foundation in style. With elements speak to a little inspiration from Daft Punk meets Eric Prydz, "Wannamaker" is surprising in its differentiation. The EP also welcomes Fatum, whose remix of the single translates the main melody of the track into a big room banger. Wannamaker is streaming via SoundCloud and available for purchase on Beatport.
