Jimmy Prime kicks of the week with his new track "Pretty Girls Love Pink". The Toronto native has been fairly quiet in the new year mainly featuring on songs for members of his crew, Prime Boys. Hopefully this means Jimmy is gearing up to release a project later on in the year
Prime's distinctive vocal rides over the Grayson Jacques produced cut as he delivers bars dedicated to all the pretty girls in his life and his desire to get famous. The beat itself is built around a lo-fi, airy vocal sample with sparse percussion. The addition of some hard hitting drums towards the end of the track help carry the final verse whilst complimenting the instrumentation nicely.
