Lane 8 finds “Home” in his remix of Icarus’s track

It feels like we're late to the Icarus train. The mysterious UK duo has been a frequent hot name on BBC Radio 1, releasing music on Pete Tong's FFRR, whose most recent release "Home" saw its debut as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World, and debut track "All Night" took the deep house world by storm. Last week we saw the debut of the vocal version of the vocal version of their hit remix of Benjamin Carlisle's "One," and now, we're seeing their number one dance hit get a new look of its own.

It only seems fitting to give remix duties on "Home" to another impressive new-school deep house artist. We've known Lane 8 since his SoundCloud viral days, and since, his success on labels like Anjunadeep and Suara have made him a sought after name in the scene. As an artist who consistently pushes himself to be different from his last release – whether original or not – Lane 8 has brought it on his work on "Home." Laid back and shimmering, Lane 8 has given "Home" a new sound that speaks to the track's name with is nostalgia, rippling synth work and soothing vocal work from Aurora. The remix is streaming and will be released April 29th via Warner Music.
