Iconic house producer and DJ Roger Sanchez declared 2015 as a “new beginning” in his career. Into 2016 has been a time for creative expression, and has seen Sanchez explore new alter egos, including the grittier side of his music as S-Man. On his latest single, he’s partnered up with longtime friend and collaborator Harry Romero on a track entitled “Searching.” Featuring the vocals of the London-based up and coming vocal hype Melisa Whiskey, “Searching” is out this week via the veteran imprint Simply Rhythm, and features a variety of nods to the house tradition while having a unique forward-thinking flare. With Romero providing Latin-inspired tribal beats and S-Man’s underground groove, “Searching” is infectious and an impressive new look for each of their musical brands.
