Based out of the Bay area, SKULS is an electronic duo who tactfully blend hip hop hits with a idiosyncratic future bass aesthetic. The duo show extremely clean edits and sophistication in their sound design, bringing them forward as artists who prioritize quality in their craft. SKULS most recent work of PartyNextDoor's "Let's Get Married" was rich in bass-filled sweeps and inventive plucking synth work.

In the duo's latest, they unveil a unique reconstruction of trap connoisseur Travis Scott's "Oh My Dis Side". The original of "Oh My Dis Side" featuring Quavo was a wavy club banger possessing cool tones and an undeniable catchiness. SKULS have flipped the track to add their creative future bass flair to add another element to the track. The remix begins with a regressing static and does not waste time to jump into the hype of the track. Travis Scott's vocals are guided by a pounding bass and subtle but impactful synths that spike and in out the track. The remix is an exciting lead into the craft of SKULS, whose raw talents and thoughtful process shines in the developing of their sound. Check out the track below.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
