If you grew up in LA, Fred Falke's latest track might pique your nostalgia for the week with his latest single, "Radio Days." The French producer and DJ known for his unique and infectious nu disco music has teamed up with one of LA radios' most well-known voices, Shotgun Tom Kelly. The sultry vocal soundtrack to weekday afternoons, the MC for the oldies station K-Earth 101 might be a surprising choice for a nu disco artist to feature in his music, but with one listen it's clear as to why Falke made the choice: anyone with an impressive speaking voice is a great compliment to electronic music.
"Radio Days" is the first single to appear off of Falke's forthcoming Alpha EP, set to release on December 4th, 2015 via Universal Music. A funky, directly disco evolution, "Radio Days" creates such an atmosphere with lingering piano progression and a groovy bassline that we might just break out into The Hustle.
