Leven Kali and Casey Veggies “Rather Be Alone” [Download]

LA singer-songwriter Leven Kali is back with a brand new track titled “Rather Be Alone” that features none other than fellow LA native Casey Veggies. Kali has been making waves in the blogosphere ever since releasing the first single off his forthcoming debut effort 4102, which is due out this summer at some point, "C.W.Y.B.". “Rather Be Alone” is produced by the singer-songwriter who lays down a mesmerizing melody accompanied by bouncing drums and a staggering synth harmony that drops at the perfect moment within the track. Kali’s production makes for the perfect backdrop for Veggies who spits a string of honest bars. Just as the Epic recording artist’s bars begin to taper off, Kali comes in with a hook so sonically pleasing that you will for sure be singing “I rather be alone/ but I am still mobbing with crew”.
