Philly based producer Louis Futon hails from the city of Brotherly Love (aka Philly) which is the same stomping grounds the godfather of twerk Diplo. Much like Diplo, Louis creates beats that don’t follow trends but set them. Since his emersion into the music game Louis has been creating fluttering synth stabs laced with future beat melodies and tightened up trap percussion to create a style all his out that has set him far beyond his other fellow classmates. His remix of Mos Def’s “Ms. Fat Booty” has amassed over a million plays on Soundcloud, which is a triumph most main stage producers still strive to achieve.
His latest remix of Odesza’s “All We Need,” keeps the sultry vocals in tact while dragging out the tempo and adding samples that grow larger and smaller like the coming tides of the ocean encompassing you in the soundscapes created. Spacey melodies flutter about perfectly partnering with Shy Girls sexy lyrical bars. Louis is a name that you will continue to hear more and more this year so get hip to him before he blows up.
