Ellie Herring is an experimental electronic producer based out of Lexington, Kentucky who has recently gotten a major surge of exposure thanks to a remarkable single through Ryan Hemsworth's Secret Songs imprint and due to her impressive output of LPs, remixes, and singles (which are all made available through her soundcoud). Her exceptional talent also seems to have gotten the attention of those overseas, as she was hand-picked by rising UK producer Oceaán to remix a standout single off of his excellent Grip EP, titled "Candour".
Oceaán's "Candour" was one of the most infectious electronic songs to be released last year and Ellie manages to expand the down-tempo single into a bass thumping banger complete with bouncy synths and frenetic drum work.
