New year, hopefully a new docket of talent. What do the up and comers expect? Nothing less than being recognized and uplifted into the ranks of those to watch. For someone who saw praise in 2014 for a heavy release and a mini-tour, Beau Young Prince is even closer to achieving what he's so adamant about doing. Therefore, he plays zero games in this new release of "Get Live" produced by YalaMusiq.
Beau calls this track a "Beauflex" which I chuckled at while reading his email. However, this play on words is only a strict representation of the type of year he wants to have. "Get Live" is a word-twisting anthem that provides a bit more information as to who B.Y.P. really is, but in a bravado kind of way. What's really awesome to hear is that YalaMusiq has been a huge part of his sound since the two were in high school, and since this is a preview of his forthcoming project Groovewave, it looks like the two will be working together much more.
The prince's style has always been peculiar, but this one is definitely a good signature of his true output. I'm a hip-hop head with multi-faceted interests, and I would sort Beau into my high-energy collection. Enjoy this EARMILK exclusive premiere, and check out more B.Y.P. here.
