Each year, Max Graham puts out his “Yearly Snapshot,” a compilation mix to show how his tastes have changed over the past year and to also demonstrate a condensed version of what an open to close set would be like by him. This year, his Cycles 6 has an expected release date of January 16th on Armada Music. One of the tracks on the forthcoming compilation mix is “Rock Steady,” by the Amsterdam based Shelter, and with only 26 followers on Soundcloud, it is clear that Shelter has a lot of room to grow, but with tracks like “Rock Steady,” it is sure to happen.
Shelter uses a pounding techno beat and some crisp percussion to set the tone for the track that will keep you dancing all night. Some fantastic synth work ties everything together, culminating in a buildup fit for veteran producers. If Shelter keeps this up, we can be sure to hear many more great tracks like this in the future.
This is definitely one track and compilation you will not want to miss. Pick up a copy when it drops on January 16th.
