One of the most enjoyable things about constantly following certain artists is establishing new friendships. A while back I shared the "hippy" influenced, eccentric rapper Beau Young Prince and his debut tape The Groovy God. It's been a while since he dropped some new music, but today I'm stoked to give you an exclusive EARMILK premiere of his new single "Don't Let This Moment Fade".
Beau has always been a strange person to me. However, strange people to me are more enjoyable, and much easier to latch on to. He's got a strong hold on fashion, and takes not so beaten paths when it comes to being an aspiring hip-hop star. His music is almost theatrical in the sense that you follow a story from start to end, instead of aimless verses with low motives. "Don't Let This Moment Fade" is obviously a romance jam, but I do respect Beau's inspiration to enjoy "the moment". He had this to say about the release:
As humans sometimes we don't cherish rare moments happening right in front of us because everything is moving so fast, especially today.
The beat behind this one originally comes from Obeson, and Beau says he derived his style on the track from artists like PARTYNEXTDOOR, The Weeknd, and anything with "future R&B production". As you can tell, he's out making his own way. Enjoy.
