Jerry Folk is original funk in “So Long” (Feat. BB Diamond)

Even with only about 3 weeks left in 2014, artists are still pumping out music faster than ever. I feel busier than normal with a ton of awesome music trickling in before we call it a wrap. One of my most recents was from recently relocated producer Jerry Folk and his remix of "Suga Suga". Today he released another piece of music, but not in his usual format. Today it's an original called "So Long".

Jerry definitely has progressed more and more with each release, and this one has some serious potential to be a launching pad. "So Long" features incredible vocals by BB Diamond, a West London singer/songwriter with a new capacity for funk, and I dig her. The track in its entirety feels like its straight out of an 80's montage video, or a 70s Bond flick. If you're into that new wave of disco music (not nu-disco), then I suggest .

No word on shows from Jerry yet, but since Los Angeles is his new stomping ground, I look forward to popping up there for a show. His new original is out via Next Wave Records today, and I'm sure it's not the last.
