Santa Monica-based producer Beshken's tasteful tracks have graced EARMILK a couple times now, and with each release, whether it be a original track like the alluring "Right Time" or a revamped version of The Fugees "Rumble In The Jungle" Beshken flexes a different aspect of his artistic aesthetic. With his most recent remix of Liz and Tyga's "Don't Say," The Next Wave Records artist turns his focus to flexing his instrumentality as he takes a simple guitar melody and transforms it into a dance hall track that juxtaposes hard-hitting trap-infused elements with a tranquil synth-pad harmony. Beshken's remix of "Don't Say" progressives brilliant as he brings in different, and what could of be interpreted as confliciting, elements eloquently through a superb build-ups and breakdown, which effectively captivates the listener.
Do not sleep on Beshken because, as evident of his most recent releases, the young artist is bringing a fresh new perspective that pierces through the mix of the saturated beat-scene that predominates southern California.
