Producing, DJ'ing, and running his own record labels, Davide Squillace is a seasoned connoisseur of getting us to move our bodies. Active since the 1990's, the Italian producer – now based in Barcelona – has kept his finger on the pulse of dance music strongly pinned and shown a distinct blend of stylistic fusions. Recalling sounds that attract listeners worldwide Squillace's releases have been housed by important labels like Ovum and Primate. Now finding a home in the Geneva-based label, Cadenza, Squillace proves his place within the imprint known for their minimal techno and house specialties with an added organic swirl.

Set as the imprint's 97th release, Goiânia EP, is an energetic three tracker that will keep you on your feet, but won't necessarily send you overboard. The balance between rhythm and melody is finely met in this issue with an added feature of galactic ambiance and even standout orchestral arrangements that really set it apart from most music being pushed out right now.
