London native Juna Cosmos has been on EARMILK's radar for quite some time now, ever since we first came across him when he was producing beats for fellow Brit Paper Plates, on his Degenerate Art EP. Since then, Juna has gone on to show that he has much more to his arsenal than just being the man behind the boards, and after a string of singles which demonstrated his rapping ability, he released his Mindless EP back in August.
Today we can exclusively bring you the premiere to the latest visual taken from Mindless, for the 808-heavy "Disciple". With a trap-influenced beat, including dope operatic sample, setting the mood, Juna takes a different turn from previous tracks, going with more of an autotunes effect on his voice, similar to some of Kanye's more recent material. Surprisingly this fits the self-produced instrumental incredibly well, and is something that may be new to his sound, but is something we could be accustomed to seeing in the future. The visuals add onto the trippy affair of the instrumental, as we see almost video-game-like visuals depicting scenes taken from the tracks lyrics. It's tracks like "Disciple" that show why Juna is regarded as one of the UK's brightest sparks in the hip hop realm, producing a sound that isn't replicated very often.
