As much as I dig all of the great music from my local Edmonton scene, I envy Montreal and their thriving trap scene. With players like Soulection's Da-P, High Klassified, and Dave Luxe, the city is set up to take over the entire country. While he's been known to bounce between MTL and New York, Kazi Whispers represents the perfect blend of hip hop and future trap. His background as an intern with Blackground Records and Jimmy Henchman coupled with his love for his hometown makes him an international hybrid who shouldn't be glossed over.
