Seattle based mind-benders Shabazz Palaces have been gearing up for the release of their sophomore album Lese Majesty, which is set to be released on July 29th on Sub Pop records. Today, the art-hop duo have decided to release the second single off of the LP entitled "Forerunner Foray".
The single encompasses the that eclectic, futuristic sound that the group perfected on their debut album back in 2011 Black Up. But the duo seems to have used the time leading up to this LP to further refine their craft. MC Palaceer Lazaro's heavily distorted vocals float on this highly synthesized instrumental, sounding like an otherworldly being trying to reach us from deep space.
