Remember back when I first began hyping up the DMV rapper Goldlink? We were in preparation for his latest project The God Complex and he had just dropped teaser visuals for the song "When I Die." Well, consumed in the shroud of mystery that is Goldlink's identity, I was at first convinced the star of that video was indeed the emcee himself. Although, this man is none other than Black Zheep DZ, or "Mr. Slick" to you.
His most recent music video, "Yesterdays", is a catchy, yet gritty, song that shows the direction Zheep plans to take his music. Take a look to establish that first impression before we move forward onto his newest single.
According to Black Zheep's Soundcloud, "Mr. Slick" is one of the first singles that will be featured on the upcoming project, 8th World, releasing late August 2014. It looks like you and I are in for another wonderful go with some of DMV's greatest.
