I have been following DJ AA on SoundCloud for a minute, but never really did my homework on the guy. I messed up by not giving him proper attention. After perusing his library of posted works, I will have to insist that you check this guy out, too. His mixes and bootlegs are merely waiting for all of the ears to tune in, and I've got a good feeling that everyone will be listening soon enough. He's got some solid feel good vibes pulsing through his productions and the same rings true for his latest remix of Tegan & Sara's track "I Was A Fool".
No matter your take on Tegan & Sara, you can't deny that DJ AA chops up the chorus perfectly and lays it down right over some powerful piano chords. Add in a simple house beat and bassline, and we've got a really fun remix. We've got to also throw a nod towards Sebastian Carter on this one. Thanks to his solid mixing and mastering, we've got this great finished product. Check the track out below and let us know what you think!
