Connecticut producer Audien is an artist who explores different sounds in his music with ownership and force like I've never seen. Inspiring full on record labels and aspiring artists with progressive trance on "Wayfarer" and heavier sounds on his latest free download "Hex" have made his work a commodity for any label. And it seems the Dutch label Spinnin' has been the latest to win the prize, releasing "Serotonin" today for a deeper reaching record than the festival-driving intensity we usually see from the label. Featuring the vocalist of the moment Matthew Koma, the track capitalizes on the acid house revivalist movement, while bringing in Audien's impeccable inclination toward uplifting chords to create an unpredictable and diversified track.
