In just a few weeks elusive LA artist and producer ZHU has become a hot name in the online music community and one of the most exciting new artists of the year. Recently he announced his debut release The Nightday EP, along with new track "Paradise Awaits", which clocked up a quarter million plays in a little over a week. Today the EP finally dropped, and already has been making waves, having shot up to #1 in the Australian single and album iTunes charts.
Across it's 6 tracks, The Nightday EP is resoundingly bold. We've covered three of the tracks before – "Superfriends", "Paradise Awaits", and "Faded", and love the three new originals that dropped as well. "Stay Closer" is a heavy dancefloor banger with an awesome deep house bassline and some great vocals.
