Boy oh boy do I love when an artist pushes themselves. And we've really come to expect that from San Francisco-based producer Panic City. Always pushing his own boundaries whether it's pop, indie or club house, we can always count on a good surprise from his next release. And that's the case today as though we've been seeing a lot of remixes from him lately, he's posted a free original track entitled "Real Lies" on his Soundcloud page, and it's visibly filled with inspiration. Sampling a portion of vocals from Calvin Harris's "You Used to Hold Me," Panic City has used a genre-bending approach to the track, working with elements from classic club house, disco, amped up garage and deep house. It's memorable and free, and a must-listen below.
